Who We Are
Border Steel Distributors LLC is a steel and metal building materials supplier based in Rio Grande City, Texas. Owned and operated by Orlando Garza, the business supplies in-stock materials and custom sheet metal fabrication to contractors, builders, and landowners across the Rio Grande Valley. From beams and tubing to pre-built carports and metal buildings, Border Steel serves the western Valley and beyond — from Rio Grande City to South Padre Island.
Our Story
Founded in 2024, Border Steel Distributors was built to give Rio Grande Valley contractors and landowners a closer, more direct option for steel materials and metal building components — combining in-stock inventory with in-house fabrication under one roof.

How We Work
Materials are kept in stock for same-day pickup, so jobs aren't delayed waiting on an order. Custom fabrication is handled in-house, which means cutting and shaping work doesn't require a separate shop or vendor. For larger purchases like pre-built structures, financing is available so the full cost doesn't have to be paid upfront.
